Paid Friendship

Set Your Price & Monetize Your Social Network

What is Paid Friendship?

Paid Friendship lets you set a price (in PTS) for accepting friend requests. When someone wants to connect with you, they pay your set price. If you accept, you receive 80% of the payment. If you reject or the request expires, they get a full refund.

This is perfect for influencers, top traders, and active community members who want to monetize their social presence on KUPR.

Setting Your Price

  1. Go to Settings → Privacy
  2. Find the Friendship Price field
  3. Enter your price (0 = free, max 100,000 PTS)
  4. Save your settings

Once set, anyone sending you a friend request will see your price and must pay it upfront. The payment is held in escrow until you accept or reject.

How It Works

ActionWhat Happens
Send RequestPTS deducted from sender (held in escrow)
AcceptYou receive 80%, platform gets 20%
RejectSender gets 100% refund
CancelSender cancels, gets 100% refund
72h ExpiryAuto-refund if no response

Tips for Success

  • Price wisely — Too high and nobody will send requests. Too low and you undervalue your network.
  • Respond quickly — Requests expire after 72 hours with full refund to the sender.
  • Be active — People pay to connect with active, valuable community members.
  • Build your profile — More content and engagement makes your friendship more desirable.

For Senders

When you see someone with a friendship price, your PTS are safely held in escrow. You will either become friends (and the target receives payment) or get your full refund back. There is zero risk for senders.

You can also cancel your pending request at any time before it is accepted for a full refund.
