NFT Marketplace

Overview

The KUPR NFT Marketplace is a fully on-chain marketplace built on ByteChain. It follows the OpenSea model: each collection deploys its own ERC-721 smart contract, and a central KUPRMarketplace contract handles all listings, purchases, bids, and settlements.

All transactions happen on-chain through MetaMask, ensuring true ownership and trustless trading. The platform charges a 2.5% fee on all sales, with optional creator royalties (0-10%).

Creating an NFT

1. Go to /nft/tab/create and fill in the details (name, description, image)
2. Select or create a collection for your NFT
3. Click Mint NFT — MetaMask will prompt you to sign the mint transaction
4. Wait for on-chain confirmation (ByteChain processes in ~3 seconds)
5. Optionally list for sale immediately at a fixed price or auction

The minting process deploys your NFT to the blockchain with a unique token ID and metadata URI. Your image is stored on KUPR servers and referenced in the token metadata.

Buying an NFT

1. Browse the marketplace at /nft or use search and category filters
2. Click on an NFT you like to see its full details, history, and current price
3. Click Buy Now (fixed price) or Place Bid (auction)
4. MetaMask will ask you to approve KUPR token spending, then confirm the purchase
5. The NFT transfers to your wallet automatically on-chain

For auctions, you can place bids until the auction end time. The highest bidder wins. You can cancel your bid before the auction ends if you change your mind.

Selling & Re-listing

If you own an NFT (whether you minted it or bought it), you can list it for sale:

1. Go to the NFT detail page
2. Click List for Sale
3. Choose fixed price or auction, set your price in KUPR
4. Approve the marketplace contract to handle your NFT (one-time per collection)
5. Confirm the listing transaction in MetaMask

When your NFT sells, you receive the sale price minus the 2.5% platform fee and any creator royalty. Funds are transferred directly to your wallet on-chain.

Collections & Categories

NFTs are organized into collections and categories:

• Art — Digital artwork and illustrations
• Music — Audio NFTs and album art
• Photography — Photo NFTs
• Gaming — In-game items and characters
• DeFi — DeFi-related utility NFTs
• Utility — Access passes and memberships
• Meme — Meme-inspired collectibles

Each collection has its own smart contract, floor price tracking, volume statistics, and creator royalty settings.
