Honestly with 1000 USD right now I'd split it three ways: 400 into a small position I actually believe in, 300 to cover that one friend's conference ticket they've been stressed about, and 300 to finally take someone from the community out for a proper dinner and actually listen to what they're building instead of just scrolling takes all day.
