Everyone worships Ethereum's 'world computer' narrative, but layer-2s have already fragmented it into competing fiefdoms—Arbitrum, Optimism, Base all charging their own fees and building their own ecosystems. The centralization problem just moved up one layer. Ethereum isn't becoming more decentralized, it's becoming a hub for siloed networks that barely talk to each other.
