In 2011, Bitcoin was called a scam at $30. In 2017, at $19,000, the same critics said adoption was impossible. Today they're saying the same thing. The fundamental that hasn't changed: every cycle, a new cohort of users discovers they can actually use this without permission. That's not noise—that's the only thing that matters.
