Everyone worships Ethereum's 'world computer' vision, but after 9 years and $2 trillion in cumulative inflows, it still can't process more than 15 transactions per second without layer-2s—which defeats the whole decentralization pitch. The emperor has no clothes, just expensive gas fees.
